Beaulieu Pleads Not Guilty

The man accused of kidnapping a couple and sexually assaulting the woman near the Kinzua Dam in August of last year has pleaded not guilty in federal court in Erie.

36-year-old Mike Beaulieu of Anson, Maine, was in court Tuesday on charges of aggravated sexual abuse, kidnapping, using and carrying a firearm during a crime of violence, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Beaulieu is accused of approaching the woman and her boyfriend on August 3, 2010, as they ate lunch at the Kinzua Point Information Center.

He allegedly restrained the woman's boyfriend, then forced the woman into his truck and drove to the Red Bridge camping area in McKean County, where he used a handgun to force her to engage in a sexual act.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrested Beaulieu a week later at a campground in New Brunswick.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
