Cardiologist Joins BRMC

Bradford Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Board Certified Cardiologist; Dr. Lalchand Goyal, MD, FACC, FSCAI to the staff at Bradford Regional Medical Center beginning in January 2012. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Goyal is McKean County’s only double board certified cardiologist.

Dr. Goyal brings more than 30 years of experience and expertise to BRMC and was instrumental in developing the interventional cardiac program at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center located in East Central Illinois. Dr. Goyal completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago, IL. He is trained in peripheral angiography and angioplasty; as well as focused on coronary disease management, along with the management of abnormal lipids, hypertension, heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias.

“Cardiac care is an essential part of any community hospital. Dr. Goyal brings many years of experience to BRMC. His full time presence in Bradford will prove to be an invaluable resource for the entire community”, said Timothy J. Finan, CEO and President of Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Prior to joining the staff at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital, Dr. Goyal worked as an interventional cardiologist at Trover Health System in Madisonville, KY. Dr. Goyal is married to Pramila Goyal, B.A., and the two have three children, including Meenal Goel, DDS, Gauri Patel, DDS, and Vikram Goyal.
