The Cake Boss Cooks Italian at
Seneca Niagara on February 18

NIAGARA FALLS, NY – The “Cake Boss” is coming back to Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel this February as the “Kitchen Boss.” Buddy Valastro, a master chef and star of shows Cake Boss and his latest venture Kitchen Boss on TLC, will provide an up-close, interactive, Italian-cooking demonstration at Seneca Niagara Events Center on Saturday, February 18, at 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $25 and are on sale now at all Seneca Casino box offices, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations and by phone at 800-745-3000. Large video screens on either side of the stage will provide excellent viewing for all attendees. In addition, Frank Amato Jr. – better known by fans as “Cousin Frankie” – will join Valastro for the Italian-cooking demonstration.

Valastro, a 34 year-old fourth-generation baker and owner of Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, NJ, gained fame with the reality show Cake Boss after its debut in 2009. He has since starred in additional shows on TLC, including Next Great Baker and his latest show, Kitchen Boss, which debuted in January 2011.

In Kitchen Boss, Valastro shares favorite Italian dishes with viewers – from his grandmother’s secret recipes to simple tips on how to make meals delicious and turn dinners into family events. Live at Seneca Niagara Events Center on February 18, 2012, guests will see the “Kitchen Boss” demonstrate that he is just as skilled with savory items as he is with cakes. Valastro will also field questions from the audience after the Italian-cooking demonstration.

This is Valastro’s second appearance at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, as he performed two cake-decorating demonstrations in the Bear’s Den Showroom on February 21, 2010.

Other upcoming entertainment at Seneca Niagara Events Center includes romantic singer Bobby Vinton on February 4, Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers on February 12 and the legendary Regis Philbin with an 18-piece orchestra on March 2.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
