A Brocton man was found guilty of trying to kidnap a 13-year-old girl as she was riding her bike to school last May in Fredonia.22-year-old Corey Kimmy was convicted after a four-day trial. He faces a mandatory prison term of up to 15 years when he is sentenced next month.
Kimmy grabbed the girl at about 7:25 a.m. on May 19, but she was able to get free and run to a nearby home, where the residents called police.
Kimmy was arrested about about eight hours later.
