Three Hurt in Charlotte Crash

Three people were hurt Sunday when a car struck a tractor-trailer on Route 60 in Charlotte.

Sheriff’s deputies say a minivan driven by Joel Marsh of Charlotte began to slow in order to make a left turn into a driveway when a vehicle driven by Phillip Anderson of Jamestown didn’t stop and hit the minivan from behind. The impact forced Marsh's vehicle into the path of a southbound tractor-trailer driven by Thomas Uebelhoer of Attica.

Both Marsh and his passenger, JoAnn Marsh, were flown to ECMC for evaluation. Anderson was taken by ambulance to WCA Hospital, where he was treated and released. The tractor-trailer driver was not hurt. Anderson was issued a traffic citation, and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
