Rat Pack Coming to Seneca Allegany Casino

SALAMANCA, NY -- Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Joey Bishop are coming to Seneca Allegany Events Center – renowned impressionists of them, that is. The hit Las Vegas-based performance, “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show,” comes to Seneca Allegany Events Center in Salamanca, NY, for five appearances from Friday, May 18, through Sunday, May 20.

Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show made its Seneca Casinos’ debut back in October with two successful performances at the Bear’s Den Showroom inside Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, and now visits the Southern Tier on the following dates and times:

Friday, May 18, at 7 p.m.;
Saturday, May 19, at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and;
Sunday, May 20, at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Tickets start at just $20 and are on sale now at all Seneca Casino box offices, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 800-745-3000. The venue, Seneca Allegany Events Center – which can seat up to 2,400 guests – will be specially-arranged for a cozier setting of approximately 900 seats per show to provide increased audience interaction and fantastic views.

Concert-goers will enjoy the nationally-renowned impressionists as they act and sing classic Rat Pack songs as well as original, never-before-heard tunes written by the late songwriter Ron Miller (“For Once in My Life”). The star-studded cast includes: writer, producer and actor Sandy Hackett (Joey Bishop); Hackett’s wife, singer/songwriter/producer and daughter of Ron Miller, Lisa Dawn Miller (Frank’s One Love); David DeCosta (Frank Sinatra); Doug Starks (Sammy Davis Jr.), and; Tony Basile (Dean Martin). Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show is backed by The Shadows Orchestra, which is led by Christopher Hardin and conductor/pianist Joey Singer.

In a recent news interview, Sandy Hackett explained why he thought the original Rat Pack shows were so popular. “These were all men who had seen considerable fame and then went down, only to make it back stronger than ever,” Hackett said. “They knew what fame is like and what it’s like to lose it. But this time, they could see it for was it was and just enjoy it. That’s why the audience liked it, too.”

Coming to the Seneca Allegany Events Center in April before Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show are comedian Bob Saget (Saturday, April 14, 7 p.m.; show restricted to 18 and older; tickets starting at $25) and modern country band Little Big Town (Sunday, April 29, 5 p.m.; tickets starting at $35). Great seats for both shows are still available.
