Babysitter Allegedly Passed Out Drunk
A Fredonia woman allegedly passed out after drinking too much – while she was babysitting an infant.
Sheriff’s deputies say they got a call Friday night about a highly intoxicated woman pushing a stroller on Route 5. 46-year-old Marcia Fedyszyn was unconscious by the time police arrived. They called Child Protective Services to check the baby. They also found the infant's mother.
Fedyszyn was taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital, and is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. CPS is investigating, and more charges may be pending.
