Family Resource Fair on May 10

The McKean County Collaborative Board is partnering with the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce to sponsor the second annual McKean County Family Resource Fair on Thursday, May 10, 2012, from 10am-6pm at the Main Entrance of the Bradford Mall.

This free event is open to anyone who would like information about local resources in the areas of housing, employment, mental health/counseling, aging, education, crisis, safety, development, transportation, physical health and more! .

Located at 1001 East Main Street in Bradford, the Bradford Mall common area will be filled with tables for various community agencies and organizations offering information on county-wide resources for all ages, giveaways, and more. A free lunch will be first-come, first-served from 11:30am-1:30pm, provided by the Bradford Senior Center for up to 250 guests. Resource Fair attendees can also enter for free to win raffles that include a cell phone with service for a year, a television, a $100 gas card, and Bradford Gift Certificates. Anne Holliday will be broadcasting live from the event on 100.1 The Hero.

The McKean County Collaborative Board is a network of McKean County Organizations that promote strong families, healthy childhood, and positive youth development. The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of business and professional people whose mission is to strive to build a healthy economy and improve the quality of life in the Bradford Area. Working together, the Collaborative Board and the Chamber hope to offer the McKean County Family Resource Fair as an annual event to inform our local community of the many resources that are available in our county.
