Man Sent to Prison for Manslaughter
A Dunkirk man will spend the next 12 ½ years in prison for killing a Silver Creek man last year.
23-year-old David Corsi II was sentenced for shooting 20-year-old Ricardo Vazquez on March 30, 2011. Vazquez died of his injuries the next day.
Corsi turned himself in to police 26 hours after the shooting. He was originally charged with second-degree murder, but pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter.
No motive was given for the shooting, other than the two men were involved in a fight.
