Another Fatal Crash in Chautauqua Co.
A Forestville man is dead after a motorcycle crash Monday night on Route 5 in Sheridan.
State Police say a motorcycle operated by 38-year-old Michael Case was traveling at a high rate of speed at about 10 p.m. when the bike went out of control and hit a guardrail.
Case was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for more than four hours while police investigated.
This is the second fatal motorcycle crash in two days in Chautauqua County. 27-year-old Jonathon Lutgen of Stow died early Sunday morning after crashing his bike in the town of Ellicott.
