Chautauqua County Inmates Found with
'Jailhouse Hooch,' Pills, Other Contraband

Four inmates in the Chautauqua County Jail are facing charges of promoting prison contraband following routine shakedowns at the jail.

43-year-old Michael Harris of Buffalo had a large amount of tobacco and matches with strikers; 25-year-old Nathan Kohler of Forestville had 7 prescription pills and chewing tobacco; 46-year-old John Bish of Jamestown had two kinds of prescription pills, including the pain killer Tramadol; and 45-year-old Patrick Raynor also had prescription pain pills. Sheriff’s deputies say Kohler, Bish and Raynor had homemade jailhouse hooch as well.

All four will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court.
