Coudersport Teen Dies in Morning Crash

A 16-year-old Coudersport boy died early this morning in a one-car crash on Route 49 in Potter County.

Kaleb Bryan Haynes was a passenger in a car that left the road at about 4:15 a.m., hit a utility pole and rolled onto its roof.

Potter County Coroner Kevin Dusenbury pronounced Kaleb dead at the scene.
The driver, 21-year-old Joey Osborne of Coudersport, suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.

Crews are still repairing damage to the pole and removing downed wires from the road at this hour.

Police are continuing their investigation.
