Lewis Run Man Facing Burglary Charge

A Lewis Run man is facing charges for an attempted burglary in the borough on Sunday.

According to papers filed in District Judge Rich Luther’s office the victim, Sally Luke, arrived at the house and noticed an outside door that leads to a small breezeway was opened and it’s usually closed.

When she approached the breezeway she saw 26-year-old Daniel Colella and asked what he was doing there. He said, “Grandpa Trumbull asked him to come and do some work.” Luke said that was not true.

Collela is charged with criminal attempt at burglary and is awaiting arraignment.
