Patricia Petruney
Patricia Ann Petruney, 81, formerly of 64 Gregory Ave. passed away Monday, July 2nd, 2012 at The Pavilion at BRMC.
Born April 2, 1931 in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Patrick and Genevieve (O'Neil) Sullivan.
On February 23, 1952 in Bradford she married George B. Petruney, who died on March 20, 1991.
She had been employed as a teachers aid for the Bradford Area School District for many years.
Mrs. Petruney had been a volunteer for the Bradford Hospital Auxiliary and delivered mail within the hospital. She loved to knit and was a member of several knitting groups. She was an avid golfer and a member of Pine Acres Golf Club.
Surviving are three sons Craig Petruney, of Bradford, Kirk Petruney of Pennsylvania and George Petruney of Connecticut, 3 grandchildren 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Kevin Petruney who died November 22, 1984.
At the request of the family there will be no public visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Raymond Gramata pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
