Three Area Accidents

A Port Allegany woman suffered moderate injuries in an accident at about 6:30 Thursday morning on Route 6 in Coudersport.

A car driven by 22-year-old Nichole Keane went off the road and hit a guide rail.

She was taken by ambulance to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital for treatment.

An Oswayo man was hurt in a one-vehicle crash early Friday morning on Route 44 near the Sharon and Clara township line.

Police say 41-year-old Edward Lundy IV failed to maintain control of his vehicle on the rain-covered road, which caused it to spin, cross the road and travel down an embankment, where it rolled onto its roof.

Lundy suffered minor injuries in the crash that happened at about 4:30 a.m.

A crash on Route 6 in Keating Township late Thursday night led to the arrest of a Port Allegany woman.

Police say 66-year-old Sandra Kaziska lost control of her vehicle and it crossed into the opposite lane, hit an embankment and rolled over.

After further investigation police determined that Kaziska was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Charges will be field after they receive lab results.

Kaziska was taken by ambulance to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
