Guilty Plea to Federal Drug Charges
A Steamburg, New York, man has pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiring to deliver about 100 pounds of marijuana and 8 kilograms of cocaine.
52-year-old James Leon faces 20 years to life in prison when he’s sentenced on February 4.
Prosecutors say on November 15 special agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration seized the cocaine and marijuana from the Tonawanda home of Leon’s co-conspirator. The drugs came from Houston, Texas, and then Leon and Richard Himbury, distributed them in Western New York.
Himbury is scheduled for sentencing on December 12.
