4-H Teams with BLT

The McKean County 4-H Program is teaming up with Bradford Little Theatre to give local youth another creative outlet through the new 4-H Theatre Arts teen club.

The club is geared toward youth in 6th through 12th grade. Monthly meetings will feature special guests from the BLT community who will share their expertise in all aspects of theatre – from backstage to onstage.

The first meeting of the 4-H Theatre Arts teen club will be held Oct. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the BLT office at 79 Main St., Bradford. Participants are asked to wear a costume. The meeting will focus on characterization and improvisation. Refreshments will be provided.

Ann Dunkerton, 4-H Youth Extension Educator and BLT veteran, will coordinate the club. Standard 4-H member fees will apply; contact the McKean County Cooperative Extension office in Smethport at 814-887-5613.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
