Shane Riethmiller agreed to surrender his teaching license as part of the plea Monday in Cattaraugus County Court.
Besides having sexual contact with the student Riethmiller also sent explicit text messages to her.
He faces up to six months in jail and 10 years’ probation when he’s sentenced January 27.
