The cost of the services is $219,412, with the city’s share $19,947. The rest will be paid by Empire State Development. The city received proposals from 14 companies.
The aim of the North Union Street project is to make the area more pedestrian-friendly, and to make it more welcoming to businesses, residents and travelers.
The resolution to accept Hatch Mott MacDonald’s proposal is on the agenda for Tuesday’s council meeting.
