Man Allegedly Used Box Cutter in Fight

A 21-year-old Cattaraugus County man is accused of using a box cutter to puncture another man’s upper back and cut his face.

Police say at around 7 o’clock Thursday night in Delevan a fight broke out between Tyler Willis and a 19-year-old from Yorkshire. The victim was taken by ambulance to Bertrand-Chafee Hospital in Springville, and then transported by Mercy Flight to ECMC, where he is in stable condition.

Willis is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon and is jailed on $25,000 bail.
