Man on Dirt Bike Facing Numerous Charges

A Chautauqua County man is accused of riding his dirt bike on the road in, what state troopers say was, a dangerous manner.

They say 21-year-old Aaron Popielarz was on Zahm Road in Arkwright and Villenova with no helmet, no safety goggles, no headlight or rearview mirror. Troopers say the vehicle also had an inadequate muffler and was no tinsured, inspected or registered.

Popielarz was also charged for reckless driving and failing to stop at a stop sign, and will appear in court in early January.
