Several Pets Die in House Fire
Several pets died in a fire at 228 High Street this morning.
Bradford City Fire Department Lt. J.D. Tehle tells WESB and The Hero that four dogs, two cats and four birds died in the blaze that was reported at 10:14 a.m. No people were hurt.
The house is owned by Veronica Eucrly and the resident is Robert Stuckey. A cause of the fire hasn’t been determined yet, but a state police fire marshal is investigating. Tehle said they didn’t put a dollar amount on it but the house was “extensively damaged.”
Sixteen city firefighters battle blaze for about an hour. They were assisted by Bradford Township.
