Teens Charged After Assault Turns Up on YouTube

Two Warren County teenagers are facing charges after a video of an assault on another teen turned up on YouTube.

State troopers say a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old conspired to attack the other teen on a walking path leading to Warren Area High School. They say the video shows the two talking and smoking right before the assault on Tuesday.

Police say one of the teens charged the victim as he approached them, and then grabbed a girl who tried to stop the attack and pushed her aside. He then punched the victim in the head and neck. The victim was knocked to the ground and hit several more times, but was not seriously hurt.

The 16- and 17-year-old will be charged with simple assault and conspiracy.

It is about time we take things like this seriously. These aren't children attacking another child, they are at the age where they know they are hurting another human being and should be punished accordingly. Tired of these so called "children" getting their hands slapped and sent on their way.
