Woman Allegedly Pushed Sheriff's Deputy
An Irving, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly pushing a sheriff’s deputy who was investigating a complaint at the Tamarack Club in Ellicottville early Sunday morning.
Deputies say they got complaints about a large and noisy party in one of the rooms at the club, and other patrons were complaining. During their investigation 45-year-old Carole Thompson allegedly pushed the deputy and created a disturbance.
Thompson is charged with obstruction of governmental administration. She was sent to jail in lieu of $500 bail and is scheduled to appear in Ellicottville Town Court.
