Woman Facing Charges After Crash

An Andover, New York, woman is facing several charges following an accident Thursday in the Town of Almond.

State troopers say 21-year-old Brooke Jackson was driving while intoxicated during the crash. Her passenger, 32-year-old Joseph Billings of Almond was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester following the crash. He has since been released. Jackson was taken to St. James Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries and then turned over to state police.

Besides DWI Jackson is charged with vehicular assault, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other vehicle and traffic violations. She was sent to Allegany County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
