Bomb Threat at Belmont School

Genesee Valley Central School in Belmont, New York, was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after bomb threat was reported to the Allegany County 9-1-1 Center at about 1:50.

State police, the sheriff’s department, Belmont Police and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit responded to the scene, but didn’t find any explosive device.

Police are continuing their investigation.
