Not Guilty Plea to Attempted Murder

A Perrysburg, New York, man has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and assault.

Prosecutors say on October 28, in Perrysburg, 19-year-old Maxwell Mohawk shot 23-year-old Charles White at close range a number of times with a .45 caliber pistol, seriously injuring him.

The matter has been adjourned for motions. Mohawk is jailed on $100,000 cash bail.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
