Bradford Regional Medical Center Lauches
Transportation Service for Pavilion Residents

On March 4, BRMC will launch a new van service for residents of the Pavilion. The wheelchair accessible van, colorfully wrapped bumper to bumper and door to door in vinyl graphics, will provide transportation to medical appointments and recreational outings for Pavilion residents, as well as local transportation support for hospital patients.

“We are excited to provide this service to our Pavilion residents, this will have a positive impact on the quality of life for our residents, and add to the level of care we already provide” said Timothy J. Finan, President and CEO, Bradford Regional Medical Center.

This new service is a result of an internal quality study by employees and administrators of the Pavilion. The study determined that the van will not only provide convenient transportation for the residents, but also cost savings to the Nursing Home by reducing the need to arrange for private transportation.

The van will be operated by specially trained volunteer drivers who will assist residents on and off the vehicle. To volunteer as a driver, contact Stacy Williams, Director of Volunteer Services & Community Outreach at 814-362-8288.
