Angela Ford

Angela Dawn Ford, 43, a loving mother and daughter of 93 Red Rock Road, Derrick City, passed away, Thursday, February 28, 2013, in her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born July 21, 1969, in Kane, she was a daughter of Mick and Judy A. (Schlopy) McGuire.

Ms. Ford was a 1988 graduate of Bradford High School. She was employed as a Administrative Assitant at Minard Run Oil Company. She had previously been employed at Smith's Accounting, McGuire Trucking and Control Chief.

She was a member of the Desk & Derrick Club, Eagles Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Vets Club, the Italian Club and a former member of the Bradford Moose Lodge.

In addition to her mother and father, Angela is survived by a son, Dylan Ray Michael Irons, a sister, Tina Marie (Shawn) Sayers of Marion IL, two brothers, Darin (Kimmers) Ford of Bradford, and Eric Ray (Dawn) McGuire of Erie, two half brothers, Brian Blankenship of Warren and Matthew McGuire of Holtzdale, her companion, Keith Bradford and her former companion Mark Irons, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal father James Franco.

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 372 East Main Street, where funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 with Rev. Max Miller, pastor of the Bradford Area Parish officiating. Committal services and burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
