Fugitive Goes to PSP Barracks

One wanted man may have learned a valuable lesson: If there’s a felony warrant out for your arrest, don’t voluntarily go to the state police barracks for fingerprinting.

28-year-old Thomas Thompson of Silsbee, Texas, learned that lesson too late, though. On Wednesday he went to the state police barracks in Warren to be fingerprinted for employment. Troopers soon learned he had a felony warrant in Louisiana.

He was taken into custody immediately, and sent to Warren County Jail to await extradition.
