Fire Leaves Two People Homeless

A house fire left two Emporium residents homeless Thursday night.

The fire on East 3rd Street started at just before 9:30 p.m. and was brought under control at 10:40 p.m. Emporium and St. Marys firefighters battled the blaze.

The Red Cross is assisting the residents of the house.
