Cops: Man on Bath Salts Wanders in Woods
Partially Clothed, Leaves Dog in Car for 14 Hours
Bath salts apparently caused a 37-year-old man to wander half-naked through the woods and leave his dog in a closed car for more than 14 hours.
Police say Jack Ferry of Sheffield was found partially clothed roaming behind homes in Starbrick on Thursday. When they found him he has numerous cuts and abrasions on his arms, chest, legs and feet. At Warren General Hospital Ferry told police he had been smoking bath salts at a friend’s house on Wednesday.
They found Ferry’s vehicle outside the home of Robin Ostrowski of Warren, and discovered the dog inside. The temperature inside the vehicle was higher than 100 degrees.
Ferry and Ostrowski are both charged with violating parole and are being held in Warren County Jail pending further court action.
