Kane Man Jailed for Stabbing

A Kane man is in jail for stabbing another man in the stomach Saturday morning in Cyclone.

Police say 36-year-old Kevin Callaway and 39-year-old Ronald McLaughlin Jr. of Emporium got into an argument at the home of McLaughlin’s mother in the Cyclone Trailer Park at just after 11:30 a.m. Calloway was asked to leave multiple times but wouldn’t, so McLaughlin jumped off the porch to confront him. Calloway then stabbed McLaughlin with a 4-inch knife.

McLaughlin and his brother wrestled the knife away from Callaway. McLaughlin was treated at the scene by EMS personnel. Callaway headed toward Bradford and, with the help of City and Township police, troopers were able to take him into custody.

Callaway was arraigned by District Judge David Engman and sent to McKean County Jail on $100,000 bail.
