Pair Charged for Stealing, Selling Logs

UPDATE 10/03/13: Charges dismissed

Two people from Frewsburg, New York, are accused of stealing and then selling logs belonging to a Warren County man.

Police say between June 19 and July 2 30-year-old Jessica Johnson and 41-year-old William Wilcox stole the logs, did more than $5,000 worth of damage to the property and sold the logs to a logging company for $1,900.

They are charged with felony counts of agricultural vandalism and conspiracy to commit agricultural vandalism, as well as a number of counts of theft. They are both free on their own recognizance and due back in court later this month.
