More Paving Starts Thursday in Bradford

The next phase of the city’s paving project is scheduled to start Thursday.

The streets included are Summer Street, upper Pearl Street, Prendergast Avenue, Spring Street, Blaisdell Avenue, Leland Avenue, Lowell Avenue and Euclid Avenue between North Kendall and East Main.

City public works director Chip Comilla says the contractor hasn’t told him yet where they’re going to start, but he will pass that information on to us as soon as he gets it.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
