Two Charged After Road Rage Incident

Two men are facing charges following a road rage incident Monday night in Ceres Township.

Police say 35-year-old Morten Hansen IV of Shinglehouse intentionally backed his dump truck into another dump truck, got out of his truck, got into the other truck through the driver’s side window and assaulted the driver, 50-year-old Kenneth Plants, also of Shinglehouse.

Plants was taken to Olean General Hospital for treatment.

Hansen is charged with assault and jailed on $15,000 bail. 56-year-old Morten Hansen III is charged with tampering with evidence after going to the scene on his four-wheeler and allegedly attempting to remove all physical evidence.
