Jim Whiteman
Born December 12, 1950, in Bradford he was a son of the late Donald J. Whiteman and Shirley (Stroup) Whiteman who survives.
Mr. Whiteman was a 1971 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School, and served in the United States Army. He had been employed at Viko in Eldred, WR Case & Sons Cutlery and later in the local oil fields and worked for many drilling companies.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his companion, Frances Patrick and her family, four sisters, Linda (Dennis) Shick, and Karen (Robert) Craft, Tina Whiteman all of Bradford, Marcie (Kirk) Schellhammer, of Smethport, nine brothers, David (Juliet) Whiteman, of San Pedro, CA, Richard (Rosemary) Whiteman, of Portville, Robert (Denise) Whiteman, of Eldred, Daniel (Connie) Whiteman, of Mesa, AZ, Jeffrey (Linda) Whiteman, of Bradford, Terry Whiteman, of Rixford, Marvin (Linda) Whiteman, of Allegany, and John Whiteman, of Rixford, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Nancy Whiteman.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 10:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main Street, at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Rick Price, Pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating.
