Portville Man Gets Probation

A Portville man has been sentenced to five years’ probation and ordered to pay more than $23,000 in restitution for his conviction on a grand larceny charge.

23-year-old Jaryd Rodgers was also convicted of forgery.

The incidents happened between January 7 and February 20 of this year when he forged checks and stole money in Olean, according to the Cattaraugus County DA's office.
