Three Students, Three Assaults

A 16 year-old Little Valley girl is facing charges after getting into a fight with another student at Cattaraugus-Little Valley High School Friday afternoon.

The girl was released to her parents and issued an appearance ticket to New Albion Town Court.

In Youngsville, two students at Youngsville Elementary Middle School attacked women in separate incidents on Friday.

At about 10:45 a.m. a 12-year-old girl kicked a female teacher several times and punched her. The girl is charged with assault and harassment.

Then at 1:30 p.m. a girl was leaving the school with her grandmother when she became irate, tried to bite her grandmother and then pushed her to the ground. Police say the 57-year-old woman had visible injuries to her elbow and knee. Charges against the granddaughter are pending further investigation.
