Catt County Schools Locked Down After
Convenience Store Robbery This Morning

An armed robbery at a convenience store prompted a lockdown at Pioneer Central Schools this morning.

The robbery was reported at the Yellow Goose store on Route 16 in Delevan at around 10 a.m. The lockdown was lifted at about 12:30.

State Police say the white man displayed a handgun while robbing the store of an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect is about 6 feet tall with a thin build and was wearing all black with a black ski mask.
