Man Admits to Helping Make Fake Viagara

A Brockport man who helped produce fake Viagara has pleaded guilty in federal court to violating drug and weapons laws.

55-year-old James Volpe distributed an imprint die on August 20 of last year that would help in the production of counterfeit Viagara. Then in November, he was found with more than 50 marijuana plants and more than 50 grams of methamphetamine he planned to sell. He also had a German Sports Gun pistol. As a convicted felon, he is not allowed to have a firearm.

Volpe faces up to 58 years in prison when he’s sentenced April 29.
