Warren HS Locked Down After Threat Found

Warren Area High School was locked down for more than an hour earlier today after a handwritten note found in a boys’ restroom said an act of violence would occur at the school today.

According to a news release from the school district, school officials, working with state police, identified a student as the suspect, and took that student into custody shortly after noon.

The school went into lockdown at about 10:45, and the lockdown was lifted after the student was taken into custody.
