Mobile Meth Lab Stopped

An anonymous tip led police to a mobile meth lab Sunday night.

State police found 32-year-old Chad Jackson of Eldred on Route 6 in Liberty Township and initiated a traffic stop for numerous equipment violations on his van. A search of the van turned up drug paraphernalia used in operating a meth lab. Police also learned that Jackson was under the influence of drugs at the time of the traffic stop.

The anonymous caller told police Jackson had been operating the meth lab between McKean and Potter counties. Jackson was sent to McKean County Jail on $100,000 bail.
