Police Harasser Headed to State Prison

An Allegany, NY, man who made harassing phone calls to the McKean County 911 Center, Kane-based state police and Port Allegany Police will serve six months to two years in state prison.

38-year-old Jeffrey Havers made numerous calls to the 911 Center and said he would keep calling until he could talk to a “real cop.” He also asked to speak with a “real cop” when he called state police and, when asked for his name, swore at the person on the phone and said he would keep calling all night. He also left a vulgar message on the Port Allegany Police Department’s answering machine.

Havers also made eight phone calls to a woman between midnight and 1 a.m. on October 19, causing her emotional distress.

OMG! More New York people committing crimes in PA!?!?!?! How can that be???? They are different states! What affects New York doesn't affect PA and vice versa! What's this world coming to if New York and PA are going to mingle with each other?

Woman Charged with Posting
Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police also learned there was an active warrant against him from City of Jamestown Court. He was sent to Chautauqua County Jail on $1,000 bail. The news leader of the Twin Tiers ... since 1947
