Man Charged for Raping Child

A Bradford man is in McKean County Jail on $1 million bail after being charged with seven counts of raping a child, and more than 100 related offenses.

30-year-old Shaun Michael Howard was arraigned this morning by District Judge David Engman. Court records say he had sex with an 11-year-old girl at least seven times starting in June of this year. The girl reported the incidents to police yesterday.

Police interviewed Howard yesterday, when he admitted to sexually assaulting the girl, who is a relative of his.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for next Thursday.

This child's age and the fact that he was related to the child was not necessary for the people that know theses people your harsh comments aren't helping the healing process LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!

First of all, hes been a registered sex offender and a known pedofile since I was a kid, and I'm now 24 years old, what happened to this poor girl is unforgiveable and heartbreaking, however considering that he was supposedly related to her means that the parents of this girl must have known of his convictions and that he is on meagans law. This should have never happened.

Nude Picture on Facebook

A Falconer, New York, woman is facing charges after allegedly posting a naked photo of a Warren woman on Facebook. Police say 22-year-old Lindsay Head posted the picture without the consent of the 21-year-old victim, who is dating Head's ex-boyfriend. Head is charged with dispersing obscene and sexual materials. The picture has been removed from Facebook.

Two Arrested on Drug Charges

Two people were arrested on drug charges after state police got a report about unauthorized use of a vehicle. Troopers found the vehicle in Randolph on Wednesday and arrested the driver, 31-year-old Bridget Bardo of Conewango, for aggravated unlicensed operation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Jaquish of Salamanca, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
