Woman Caught Forging Prescription
A woman got caught trying to forge a prescription when she made the dosage of the medication too high.
State troopers say 23-year-old Lindsay Brown of Randolph took a prescription to a pharmacy but was told it couldn’t be filled because no amount was indicated. She returned a short time later, saying the doctor had “fixed” the prescription and added a dosage amount, but the pharmacist noted that the amount was too high. Troopers later learned that the prescription slip had been stolen from a local doctor.
Brown is charged with grand larceny and possession of a forged instrument. She’s scheduled to appear in Town of Randolph Court.
