Blues Traveler Coming to Salamanca

SALAMANCA, N.Y. – One of the most well-traveled acts of the “jam band” era will roll into Western New York, when Blues Traveler takes the stage at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino on Friday, December 26.

Best known for their harmonica-laden melodies and rock ‘n roll undertones, Blues Traveler combined blues-rock and Southern rock to create a defining sound over the past 25 years. The band gained widespread fame in the mid-1990s, fueled by the Grammy Award-winning single “Run Around” and the follow-up smash hit “Hook.” The release of a new exciting and dramatically different album is scheduled for 2015.

Tickets for Blues Traveler start at $20, and go on sale Thursday, Oct. 30 at Noon. Tickets are available at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets,, all Ticketmaster locations or by phone at 800-745-3000.

Other upcoming performances scheduled for Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino include comedian Bill Engvall (November 16, tickets start at $25), Southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd (November 29, tickets start at $41), and Lorrie Morgan – An Enchanted Christmas (December 3-7, tickets start at $10).
