Car Hits Sign on Route 219

No one was hurt in an accident late Saturday afternoon on Route 219 in Lafayette Township.

Police say a car driven by 54-year-old Cynthia Abrams of Manassas, Virginia, was traveling south when it went into the heightened west berm and hit a metal PennDOT sign.

Police say Abrams was fatigued at the time of the crash. She was cited for not staying in her lane.

She was able to drive the car away from the accident.
