The Case Collectors Reunion continues today on Owens Way, and several other events are also planned. The FOP craft & vendor fair starts at 10 a.m. at the Bradford Township Lions Club. It also includes demonstrations by area police and fire departments, a fly-in by a Stat MedEvac helicopter and the world famous Bradford Township Lions Club chicken barbecue. Registration starts at 9:45 in the Zippo parking lot on Congress Street. One of the stops will be the Kinzua Sky Walk. This is the anniversary of the day a tornado knocked down the Kinzua Viaduct. After the run, a block party will be held on Mechanic Street, where the winner of the Harley of Hope will be announced. You don’t have to participate in the motorcycle run to attend the block party. The man charged with raping a 13-year-old girl earlier this month is now facing another rape charge. 19-year-old Anthony Kremer is charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors in connection to an alleged incident May 11 in Bradford Township. All the charges are felonies. The first set of charges stem from alleged incidents May 7 in the City of Bradford. Kremer is in jail on bail.

By ANNE HOLLIDAY WESB/WBRR News Director A warehouse was destroyed and an apartment house was damaged, but no one was hurt in a fire this afternoon on Jerome Avenue. Captain Chris Angell tells WESB and The HERO the warehouse was heavily involved in fire and smoke when Bradford City firefighters arrived on the scene. They got the call at 11:39 a.m. and were on the scene for five hours. The warehouse has been declared a total loss. The warehouse was connected to a rental unit with three apartments. Angell said there was “some fire extension into two apartments, but not a lot – a little fire extension, smoke and water damage. But they did not burn up.” “What didn’t get wet was saved,” Angell said. “A little bit of vinyl siding melted (at 19 Jerome Ave.) but the fire did not extend to the house,” Angell said. State Police Fire Marshal Greg Agosti has already been on the scene and has not determined a cause. Angell says the cause will be left undetermined because the warehouse is too hazard...

McKean County District Attorney Ray Learn just issued the following news release: Today, the McKean County Drug Task Force arrested thirty-one (31) suspected drug dealers from various parts of McKean County. In the first operation of its size, seventeen officers from the McKean County Drug Task Force, assisted by thirteen law enforcement officers from other county and municipal law enforcement agencies, made arrests in nearly fifty (50) cases for Felony drug delivery charges. These charges span from early 2009 to June of 2010. The sweep resulted in the seizure of five vehicles, quantities of cocaine and cash, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia. Participating in the operation was the McKean County Drug Task Force, McKean County District Attorney’s Office, Bradford City Police Department, Bradford Township Police Department, Foster Township Police Department, Port Allegany Police Department, Smethport Police Department, McKean County Sherriff’s Department, Cattaraugus County Sher...
