It's the Summer Sizzler Contest!

Rally in the Valley Continues in Olean

One of the highlights during Friday's Rally in the Valley events was parachutists from Freefall Oz. A giant fireworks showed capped off the evening. Rally in the Valley continues today at Bradner Stadium in Olean from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Carnival games and mechanical bull riding start at noon. Bike games start at 3. Beary Interesting Morning in Portville

Our sales manager Peggy found a stranger in her yard as she was leaving for work this morning, so she snapped a few pictures. Her husband named him "Sabre" because he said he didn't want a bruin in his yard. ( Good one!)

Corn for a Cause

Mary from Tops (top photo) serves up a couple of lunch specials to a couple of the people who attended Saturday's Outdoor Corn Sale Event. Proceeds from the lunch sales went to the United Way of the Bradford Area. Below, United Way Executive Director Kelly Case chats with Greg Ulyan of Chapel Ridge and WESB/WBRR Sales Director Peggy Austin, who is also looking through a United Way cookbook. Sparky the Fire Dog, and other members of the Bradford City Fire Department were also on hand at the event, signing people up for smoke detectors, handing out fire safety information and collecting donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
